Robert Fred Belk, 82, of Ruleville and formerly of Blaine died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Walter B. Crook Nursing Facility in Ruleville. Visitation will be Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service, at Burton Funeral Home. A private family burial will follow in Linn Methodist Cemetery, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home of Indianola. Mr. Belk was a member of Blaine Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Mr. Belk is survived by one daughter, Nita Belk Dill (Mike) of Inverness, Mississippi; two sons, Robert Fred Belk, Jr. (Diane) of Satartia, Mississippi, Ed Belk (Shea) of Inverness, Mississippi; one sister, Sue Bailey of Jackson, Mississippi; one brother, Earl Belk of Enid, Mississippi; fifteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Burle and Mamie Buckner Belk; his wife, Betty Love Belk; his son, Robert Cecil Belk; and his daughter, Love Belk Holmes.
