Alex Kate Thompson, 23 months, of Ruleville, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, in Ruleville, due to injuries from an automobile accident.

Alex was born November 3, 2020, in Cleveland, to Thomas and Mary Katelynn Kimbriel Thompson. She loved singing and dancing and was always smiling. Alex loved playing with her brothers and sister. She was always the daredevil of the group.

Alex was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Mike & Brenda Hollingsworth Kimbriel.

She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Mary Katelynn Thompson of Ruleville; paternal grandparents, Robert & Lara Thompson of Ruleville; maternal grandparents, Jim and Ashlie Whatley of Ruleville; paternal great grandparents, Pete & Penny Walker of Ruleville; great – great grandmother, Aythel Kimbriel of Indianola; two brothers, Tucker Sbravati and Weston Thompson both of Ruleville; one sister, Kamryn Sbravati of Ruleville; aunts, Amber Whatley of Ruleville, Jimmie Whatley of Greenville, and Rayanne Sullivan (Wesley) of Cleveland; uncles, Jacob Whatley of Ruleville and Todd Thompson (Destiny) of Jackson; and great uncle, Chris Kimbriel of Merigold.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 30, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
