Allen Keith Holdeman was born May 4, 1941, at Axtell Hospital in Newton, Kansas. He died January 10, 2024, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. His passing was the result of a massive stroke. He lived and worked in the Delta since 1966. He was a land leveler for most of his years. He was a lover of people; he never met a stranger: only friends. Much of his life was spent with his horses, of which he had a special talent for training and riding. His love for his Lord was his stay and his love for his family his pride. Survivors include Jane, his wife of 63 years; sons Wes and wife Charis of Indianola; Phillip and wife Tamma of Inverness; Ms. Bessie of Oxford; Ms. Julie and husband Kerry Ratzlaff of Macon; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 5 sisters, and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 4 brothers-in-law.

Visitation will be 4-6, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Leland Mennonite Church. Service with be 10:30, Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the Leland Mennonite Church. Burial in the Leland Mennonite Church Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
