Allen DeWayne Palmore, 62, of Inverness, died at his home Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

DeWayne was born March 19, 1960, in Isola, to Lindon Edward Palmore and Allie Earlene Saulter Palmore. He was employed as a security guard at Country Select Catfish Company in Isola. DeWayne loved to read his Bible and enjoyed discussing the Bible with preachers. He also loved skydiving and spending time at the boardwalk at Sky Lake.

DeWayne was preceded in death by his parents, L.E. Palmore and Earlene Palmore, and one brother, Robert Palmore. He leaves behind three sisters, Mary Gilliland (Carl) of Plano, Texas, Linda Rowland (Johnny) of Inverness, and Patricia Johnson of York Springs, Pennsylvania; two brothers, James Edward Palmore of Inverness and Pete Palmore (Sally) of Greenwood; and numerous nephews and nieces whom he loved very much.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Southside Cemetery in Inverness. Rev. Linda Malone will officiate the service. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
