Allie Sanders Ables' Obituary
Allie Jane Sanders Ables, 84, of Isola, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Legacy Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville.
She was born March 3, 1933 in Isola and was the daughter of Truman and Mary Gaddy Sanders. Mrs. Ables worked for Ludlow Manufacturing in Indianola for 25 years and worked at Stubb's Drug Store in Isola for 15 years prior to her retirement in 2000. She loved people and her animals, and would do anything for you. Mrs. Ables also enjoyed crocheting and her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 64 years, Pat Ables; and one sister, Flavia "Belle" Sanders.
Mrs. Ables is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Heath and husband Billy of Alexander, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Melissa Freeman and husband John of Houston, Arkansas, and Justin Heath of Alexander, Arkansas; and four great grandchildren, Olivia Freeman of Houston, Arkansas; Anna Beth Heath, Brayden Heath, and Gabby Heath all of Bryant, Arkansas.
A private family service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Greencrest Memorial Gardens in Belzoni. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
