Amy Neal Wheeler, 67, of Wiggins, and formerly of Indianola, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

Amy was born March 18, 1953, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Lester and Verlie King. Amy was a graduate of Indianola Academy and received her associates degree in criminal justice. She worked for SuperValu in Indianola for 27 years prior to her retirement. Amy then worked for the City of Indianola for 13 years prior to retiring. She moved to Wiggins in 2012. Amy attended Northwood Church in Wiggins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mike Wheeler; and her granddaughter, Lora Westbrook.

Amy is survived by two daughters, Brenda Harris of Merigold and Rebecca Burchfield of Wiggins; sisters, Janice Thompson of Arkansas and Melissa Gnau of Saucier; brothers, Jeff, Jerry, and Fred of Gary, Indiana; grandchildren, Madison, Brooklyn, Patrick, Jailen, Nevaeh, Julius Jr.; and step grandchildren, Manuel Jr., Brandon, Sam, Andrea, DeAnthony, and Olivia.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 3, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola.
