Angela "Angie" Mae Homer McCollum, 43, of Batesville and formerly of Rome, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford.

Angie was born May 20, 1982, in Jackson, to Billy Homer and Sherry York Griffin. She was a loving companion, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Angie enjoyed spending her time outdoors and playing with her granddaughter and great-nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Homer; mother, Sherry Griffin; and sister, Brandy Sartin.

Angie is survived by her life partner, Phillip Earl; son, Brandon Chase Raymond (Lindsey); brother, Bobby Pearson (Deborah); sister, Shea McMurry (Jeremy); one granddaughter, Braelyn Raymond; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Civitan Club, 107 Panola Ave, Batesville, MS 38606. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with the arrangements.
