Annie Mae Alexander, 71, of Indianola, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Region One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. She was born March 10, 1952, in Grenada, to James Levert Alexander and Anne Lee Berry Alexander. Annie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Cedric Lamar Alexander; daughter, April Shanta Alexander Liddell; and three sisters, Linda Dixon, Dorothy Ruth Alexander and Opia Robinson. She is survived by one daughter, Denisha White of Aubrey, Texas; three brothers, Charles Alexander, Cleo Berry, and Willie James Alexander; three sisters, Sharon Wilson, Diane Beckworth, and Christine Perryman; eight grandchildren, Jada Alexander, Adrain Alexander, Taylor White, Tyra Alexander, Earl Liddell, Tyler Liddell, Tiana Alexander, and Cedric Alexander, Jr.; and one great-granddaughter, Kahlani White. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Christian Fellowship Church of God in Christ, 330 Church St., Indianola, MS 38751. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola was entrusted with arrangements.
