Barbara Bailey Randall passed away peacefully into eternal life on Thursday, February 3, 2022 in her hometown of Indianola, MS at the age of 95. She was blessed with a full and abundant life enriched by her Heavenly Father, her large family, and her many friends.

Barbara was born on September 25, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland to her parents Helen Elizabeth Sturgeon and William Clarence Bailey. She spent her childhood in Memphis, Tennessee and Omaha, Nebraska. She received her primary education at Catholic preparatory schools, Sacred Heart and Holy Name. Upon her mother's death, she moved south to be with her father and finished her senior year at Byram High School. She also attended Hinds Junior College.

She married James (Jim) Bennett Randall, Jr., and they began life together during his college years at Tulane University. Upon his graduation, they moved to Pascagoula, MS and shortly thereafter settled in the Mississippi Delta during his long tenure as a teacher, football coach, and athletic director at MDCC.

Barbara was known for her many business and professional affiliations and was a long-time field representative of the American Heart Association. Those who knew her loved the joy she found in playing bridge, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Barbara was the proud mother of her seven children. She was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Sandi Randall, her daughter Stephanie Randall Daniel, and her son Scott Randall. She is survived by her children Robin Randall Kennedy (Ed) of Madison, MS; James Bennett (Randy) Randall, III (Nan) of Indianola, MS; Sharman Randall Gray (Steve) of Greensboro, GA; Stacy Randall Weems (Belk) of West Point, MS; and her daughter-in-law Margie Bonner Randall of Biloxi, MS. She is also survived by her grandchildren Shane Hamilton, Kristen Nations, Foster Kennedy, Catherine Fandel, Sarah Nan Donahoe, Josalyn Bailey, Courtney Gray, Cameron Gray, Ross Weems, and Randall Weems. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and two special cousins, Dottie Dowe of Highland Park, Texas and Melissa Thompson of Edmond, Oklahoma.

A private family Mass will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Indianola, MS. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Indianola City Cemetery for family and friends. The family cherishes their many friendships but is understanding of absences due to the current Covid environment. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
