Betty Lee Ferracci Dunn, 78, of Indianola, passed away peacefully Monday, December 12, 2022, at her home.

Betty Lee was born September 30, 1944, in Bolivar County, to Miro John and Mary Lee Giardina Ferracci. She graduated from cosmetology school and went to work for King's Beauty Shop and she later opened The Headquarters in Indianola. Betty Lee worked as a hairdresser for over 60 years. She was always kind and had the biggest heart. Betty Lee enjoyed going to the casino, the VFW, and going out with friends. She loved being around her friends and that led to her opening 82 Sports Bar for several years. Her favorite place to go was the beach. Betty Lee was a devoted and wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her family with all her heart. Betty Lee was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Indianola.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Sammy Ferracci and Miro Ferracci.

Betty Lee is survived by her two beloved sons, Mark (Pam) Morgan of Cleveland and Larry (Amy) Morgan of Bealeton, Virginia; one sister, Patricia Lebaj of Long Beach; two grandchildren, Josh (Whitney) Morgan and Ashley Gilbert; and five great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Rivers, Aniston, Alec, and Andrew.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2022, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Indianola. The funeral mass will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in Shaw Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements
