Beverly Ann Brown Pierce, 85, of Indianola, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at her home.

Beverly was born February 27, 1940, in Greenwood, to James Stevens Brown and Hazel Thomas Brown. The family later moved to Panther Burn. Beverly graduated from Hollandale High School. She then attended college at the University of Mississippi, earning her bachelor's degree. Beverly worked in bookkeeping for many decades before her retirement. She enjoyed reading and working in her yard but loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kent Wayne "Blade" Pierce; her son, Trey Pierce; and her brother, James Stevens "Jimmy" Brown, Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Flint Pierce of Holly Ridge and Jeff Pierce (Stacy) of Madison; sister, Gwen Cade of Perry, Florida; and two grandchildren, Casey Claire Pierce and Matthew Blade Pierce.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 17, 2025, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
