Obituary

Bobbie Mercer Fratesi, 88, of Indianola, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at her home. She was born in Sebastopol, Mississippi, and was the daughter of William Alexander and Maudie Farish Mercer. Bobbie worked for Bell South for 32 years until her retirement. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Indianola.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Fratesi; one brother; and seven sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Ronny Fratesi of Indianola, Don Fratesi and B.J. Fratesi both of Huntsville, Alabama; daughter, Sandra Chism of Indianola; sister, Jeannette Stanley of Kernersville, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 26 th from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Indianola City Cemetery, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home of Indianola.
