Bunyan Leo Morgan, 75, of Indianola died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at his home. Leo was born May 24, 1941 in Leflore, Mississippi and was the son of Bunyan Morgan and Benson Irene Farish Morgan.

He was retired from the United States Army National Guard after 30 years of service to his country. Leo worked for Ludlow Manufacturing until its closure and worked for SuperValu until his retirement. He was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Indianola.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy Leonard Morgan; two brothers, Jimmy and Shelby Morgan; and two sisters, Helen DeClement and Betty Franklin.

He is survived by three sons, Mark Morgan and his wife Pam of Cleveland; Larry Morgan and his wife Amy of Manassas Park, Virginia; and Craig Morgan and his wife Jessica of Hernando; stepdaughter, Kristy Griffin of Indianola; brother, Perry Morgan and his wife Sue of Hickoryville, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Margie Morgan of Leland; six grandchildren, Ashley Gilbert and her husband Ed, Joshua Morgan and his wife Whitney, Addyson Morgan, Whitney Morgan, Paisley Griffin, and Nicholas Whitaker; and three great grandchildren, Brooklyn Grisham, Rivers Grisham, and Aniston Morgan.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 18, 2016 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola.
