Callie Lynn Pate, 27, of Belzoni, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020, in Isola from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Callie was born May 10, 1993, in Flowood to William Roger Pate and Stacy Lynn Luster. She worked as a CNA for Sharkey Issaquena Nursing Home in Rolling Fork. Callie was a very loving and kind person and would do anything for anyone. Her laughter was infectious. She was an avid pet lover and would often pick up stray animals and bring them home. Callie loved her family, and her son, Abel, was her entire world. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Belzoni.
Callie was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Fred "Buddy" Luster, James "Buddy" Pate, and Lloyd Fikes.
She is survived by her father, William "Bill" Pate (Jiva) of Bandera, Texas; mother, Stacy Luster Fikes (Bill) of Pervis; grandparents, Hallie Love Luster of Belzoni, Frances Pate of Bandera, Texas, and Ann and Bubba Hawkins of Inverness; life partner, Tray Lowery of Belzoni; son, Abel Lowery of Belzoni; brother, Chris Pate of Isola; sister, Anna Lloyd Fikes of Pervis; half-brother, T. J. Pate and two half-sisters, Shelby Pate, and Amber Pate all of Bandera, Texas.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020, at 11:00 am, at Belzoni City Cemetery in Belzoni with Rev. Richard Wiman officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
