Carol Sue Roberson Minga, 60, of Indianola, passed away peacefully Friday, April 21, 2017 at South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola with her loving family by her side.

She was born November 1, 1956 in Doddsville, and was the daughter of J.C. and Ella Terry Roberson. Carol married Thomas William Minga, Sr. in 1973, and together they made their home in Indianola. She was a homemaker and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her beloved Bill preceded her in death in 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Janie Lanham and Mary Fairless; and two brothers, Jerry Roberson and John Roberson.

Carol leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Gail Minga Williams and her husband Casey of Tupelo; one son Bill Minga and his wife Lisa of Indianola; one sister, Judy Weeks and her husband James of New Albany; one brother, Junior Roberson and his wife Ruby of Bruce; and four grandchildren, Dalton Williams, Chelsie Minga, Mary Minga, Carol Ella Minga.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 24, 2017 at Burton Funeral Home, 634 Highway 82 West, Indianola, MS. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
