Charles Edward Clark, 82, of Germantown, Tennessee, and formerly of Moorhead, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital.
Charles was born on November 8, 1943, in Baird, to Robert Doyle Clark and Sybil Mooney Clark Cothran. He was a Mississippi Army National Guard Veteran and VoTech Instructor at Mississippi Delta Community College for many years before his retirement. Charles was an Elvis lover who never met a stranger. Everyone was his friend due to his wonderful personality. He enjoyed working on old cars and traveling all over the US with his family. Charles was a member of Moorhead Baptist Church and loved his God. He was a family man who adored and cherished his family.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother Douglas Clark, nephew Rob Clark, and stepson Roger Hirsch.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Roslyn Diamond Hirsch Clark of Germantown, daughters, Tara Clark Cumberland (Jason) of Preston, Lisa Michael (Tommy) of Eagleville, Tennessee, and Mitsi Meyer (Jim) of Cleveland; stepsons, Geoffrey Hirsch (Marci) of Memphis, Scott Hirsch (Leigh) of Memphis, and Xavier Page (Isabelle) of Brest, France; daughter-in-law, Leslie Hirsch of Austin, Texas; brother, Bob Clark (Millie) of Moorhead; sister in law, Janet Clark of Indianola; eleven grandchildren, Callie (Gabe) Beukinga, Olivia (Connor) Bailey, Tripp (Neely Pilgrim), Caleb Pilgrim, Davis Cumberland, Sybil Cumberland, Michael Hirsch, Lily Hirsch, Meyer Hirsch, Solomon Hirsch, and Elliott Hirsch; and five great-grandchildren, Eli Beukinga, Eloise Beukinga, Ellis Beukinga, Wade Bailey, and Rollins Pilgrim.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Moorhead Baptist Church in Moorhead. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Moorhead Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
