Charles Leslie Davis of Homer, LA, age 73, passed away at Claiborne Rehabilitation, on January 25, 2024. He was born in Yazoo City on May 14, 1950, to JT Davis and Dorothy Wooten Davis. He later moved to Homer, LA. Charles went on to marry Vickie Davis. He worked hard for many years at Davey Tree Expert Co. before retiring.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie, his parents, JT and Dorothy Davis, and one sister, Gail LeBlanc.

He is survived by two sons, Charles L. Davis, Jr. (Christy) of Ft. Myers, FL and Thomas A. Davis (Kasi) of Farmerville, LA; his daughter, Leslie Styles, of Six Mile, SC, two brothers, Wally Davis (Peggy) of Indianola, MS and Randy Davis (Debbie) also of Indianola, MS, two sisters, Jean Whitaker of Greenville, MS and  Lynn Williamson of Oxford, MS; seven grandchildren, Christopher & Cayla Davis, Corey Belcher, Allen & Brian Davis, Gracie & Grayson Davis; as well as several nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 29 at Burton Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tim Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Indianola Memorial Gardens. Burton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
