Claude Lamar Campbell, Sr., 75, of Starkville and formerly of Indianola, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at UAB, Birmingham. Claude was born in Indianola and was the son of Fred Lamar and Dora Schaefer Campbell. He was retired from Commercial Credit Corp after 33 years of service. Claude was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Edward Campbell. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 52 years, Elaine Spencer Campbell of Starkville, MS; daughter, Deborah Campbell Green (Steve) of Louin, MS; son, Claude Lamar Campbell, Jr. (Sherry) of St. Cloud, FL; sister, Jeanette Campbell Schofield of Middletown, OH; brother, Clifton Eugene Campbell (Joy) of Hattiesburg, MS; granddaughters, Ashley Green Dale (Connely) of Columbus, MS, Ashley Doby of St. Cloud, FL; great grandson, Spencer Connely Dale; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Friday, July 10, 2015 from 10:30 am until the 11:30 am funeral service at Fellowship Baptist Church, Starkville. Interment will follow at 4:30 pm in Indianola City Cemetery, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home of Indianola. Rev. Richard C. Bryan will officiate.

Pallbearers are Barry Campbell, Jim Campbell, Connely Dale, Steve Olson, Kenny Spencer and Reuben Spencer IV.
