Claude J. "Jay" Gardner, III, 57, of Indianola, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at his home. Jay was born November 23, 1964, in Texas, to Claude J. Gardner, Jr. He worked for Modern Line Products and then Gardner Engineering. Jay enjoyed playing video games. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Frances Gardner. Jay is survived by his father, Claude (Amber) Gardner, Jr. of Indianola; stepsister, Polly (Philip) Pieroni of Lake Village; nephew, Joey Smith of Indianola; and niece, Haley (John) Lott of Oxford. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
