Dalma Thomas Giachelli's Obituary
Dalma Lee Thomas Giachelli, 65, of Leland, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Walter B. Crook Nursing Facility in Ruleville.
Mrs. Giachelli was born February 13, 1953 in Indianola, Mississippi to George and Mary Ratliff Thomas. She married Egisto "Noo" Giachelli, Jr. in 1969 and together they made their home in Leland. She was a homemaker who loved her home and she enjoyed taking care of it. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Giachelli loved flowers, cooking, and watching hummingbirds.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jerry and George.
Mrs. Giachelli is survived by her husband of 49 years, Egisto "Noo" Giachelli, Jr. of Leland; one daughter, Paula Giachelli of Indianola; one son, Alan "Bo" Giachelli and his wife Lindsay of Leland; three sisters, Diane, Hazel, and Anita Faye; and two grandchildren, Reed and Kate Giachelli.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. A private family burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
