David Dale Bailey, 58, of Shaw, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 at his home. He was born in Indianola to Joseph Donald Bailey, Jr. and Annie Lois Johnson Bailey. David was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a member of Interstate Baptist Church in Shaw.

David was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patti Hodge Bailey; brother, Joseph Donald "Donnie" Bailey, III; and nephew, Christopher Gianini. He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Melissa Robinson and husband Bobby of Shaw, Teressa Moudy and husband Ted of Richland; two sisters, Joyce Bailey Moorman of Indianola and Carolyn Bailey Phillips of Brandon; and grandchildren, Kayla and Jaclyn Ahner, Trey West, and Kaylee Moudy.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 6th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home, Indianola. A second visitation will be held Thursday, July 7th from 2:00 pm until the 3:00 pm funeral service at Burton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Indianola City Cemetery, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home.
