David Earl Keith, 62, of Indianola, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at his home.

David Earl was born August 23, 1959, in Indianola, to Thomas David Keith and Etta Mae Pate Keith. He worked for Anderson Planting in Inverness for many years. David Earl was the greatest "Papaw" ever. He was also the best uncle you could ask for. David Earl was known by his friends as "Houdini".

He was preceded in death by his parents.

David Earl is survived by his wife, Vicki Sharp Keith of Indianola; two daughters, Ashley Phillips and Kristin Wood (Josh); one son, T.C. Keith, all of Mize; stepdaughter, Holly Anthony Farmer (Earl) of Indianola; stepson, John Paul Anthony of Indianola; sister, Anne Rivers (Kenny) of Merryville, Tennessee; brother, Mike Keith (Janet) of Desarc, Arkansas; and nine grandchildren, Walker Anthony, Weston Farmer, Bryson Wood, Brantley Wood, Braden Wood, and Brenton Wood, Tyson Phillips, Clay Phillips, and Brianna Phillips.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 8, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Matthew Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
