Obituary

David Lynn McCaskill, 53, of Indianola died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Ozark Island Hunting and Fishing Club in Merigold. He was born May 6, 1963 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was the son of John and Louise Dykes McCaskill.

Lynn was a member of First United Methodist Church of Indianola, and was a member of Ozark Island Hunting and Fishing Club. He really enjoyed fishing and talking to people and never met a stranger.

Lynn was preceded in death by his father, John Hamilton McCaskill.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Louise Dykes McCaskill of Indianola, two brothers, John Alan McCaskill and his wife Carmen of Sunflower, and Brian Hamilton McCaskill and his wife Kristen of Starkville; and four nieces, Madison, Meredith, Anna Hartley, and Katherine.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 1:30 pm until the 3:00 pm memorial service at First United Methodist Church in Indianola. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Daycare, Post Office Box 86, Indianola, MS 38751.
