David Marshall Ouzts, 64, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Delta Health System in Greenville.

David was born on May 18, 1961, in Indianola, to William C. and Joyce Brasher Ouzts. He worked as a movie projectionist for 40 years and as a security guard on the federal and business levels. David enjoyed collecting old projection equipment, trains, and all kinds of audio equipment. He loved his family and friends, and he was loved for the man that he was.

David was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William R. Ouzts.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carla Ouzts; daughter, Renee Ouzts, of Greenville; and one brother, Cecil Ouzts of Michigan.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
