Debra Louise Pepper Leard, affectionately known as Debbie, 59, of Moorhead, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her home. On December 9, 1956, she was born in Indianola to Allen Plester and Kathryn Daves Pepper. Debbie worked as payroll manager for Delta Pride for 20 years. She was a member of Moorhead Baptist Church. Debbie was a loving and kind sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Steve Carithers of Indianola; two daughters, Kathryn Elizabeth Leard and Lauren Leard both of Moorhead; brothers, Roy McCurdy and wife Bonnie of Lake Providence, Louisiana, Ricky Pepper and wife Jessica of Indianola; sisters, Joan Pepper of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Annette Govero and husband Jeff of Cleveland, Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Swayze and Drew Carithers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 22 ^nd from 2:00 pm until the 3:00 pm memorial service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
