Mary Denise Muirhead Womack, 64, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at St. Francis Park Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Denise was born on December 6, 1961, in Greenville to John Thomas Muirhead and Joyce Webb Muirhead. She worked as an office manager at Collum Tools prior to her retirement. Denise enjoyed going to car races and vacations in the mountains. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Denise was preceded in death by her father, John Thomas Muirhead, and sister, Linda Muirhead.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Womack, Jr. of Greenville; mother, Joyce Muirhead of Kenton, Tennessee; son, Keith Hoover of Greenville; two daughters, Krystle Salinksky (William) of Exton, Pennsylvania and Holly Brooke Rodgers of Mountain Home, Arkansas; stepson, Dustin Rushing (Jamie) of Indianola; two brothers, Mark Muirhead (Kris) and Ricky Muirhead (Angie) both of Kenton, Tennessee; and six grandchildren, Colton, Maddox, Dawson, Liam, James, and Jax.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
