Donald Ray Eldridge, 66, of Inverness, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, at his home.

Donald was born October 4, 1957, in Indianola to Charles and Laverne Welch Eldridge. He worked in merchandising for many years. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends at the VFW. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Donald spent many years taking care of his parents during their last years. He was devoted to his family. Donald was a member of Second Baptist Church in Indianola.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Donald is survived by his brother, Charles Eldridge of Indianola; sister, Billie Jean Wiley (Carl) of Shaw; girlfriend, Darlene Craig of Memphis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Inverness. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
