Donald Gene
Reynolds, Jr.
Feb 2, 1958 — Jul 29, 2026
Greenville, MS
Donald Gene Reynolds, Jr., 68, of Greenville, passed away at his residence on July 29, 2026.
Donald was born in Dermott, AR, to Donald Gene Reynolds, Sr. and the late Agnes Faye Wilson Reynolds. In his younger years, Donald worked on an offshore rig. After an injury on the job, Donald began a long career as a welder. He worked as a machinist/welder at L & L Tool in Greenville for the last 22 years. Donald took pride in his work and was known as a dedicated employee who wasn’t afraid of hard work.
Like many, Donald faced personal struggles throughout his life. While those challenges were significant, they never defined his love for God and his family. Donald attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenville and was baptized on May 9, 2004. His faith was an important part of his journey.
Donald is preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Reynolds, and daughter-in-law, Nikki Reynolds.
He is survived by his children, Donnie Reynolds of Sunflower, Katrina Jobe (Kenny) of Sunflower, Douglas Reynolds (Bethanie) of Hamilton, and Krissy Reynolds of Pontotoc; and eleven grandchildren, Caleb Reynolds, Cole Jobe, Preston Reynolds, Maddie Reynolds, Kyle Jobe, Wyatt Reynolds, Octavia Truelove, Teagan Reynolds, Samuel Truelove, Paisley Reynolds, and Ronin Reynolds.
Donald is also survived by his father, Don Reynolds, Sr. of Inverness; his brother, Darryl Reynolds (Faye) of Louisiana; his sister, Debra Samuel of Gluckstadt; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
His family will remember him for his hardworking spirit, his love of those closest to him, and the moments of laughter, kindness, and connection they shared.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
-Psalm 34:18
