Earline Kirk, 92, of Doddsville Mississippi, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 in Tomball, TX.

Earline grew up in Opp, Alabama and found the love of music there.  She married WD Kirk, who became a minister, and they were led to many places including: Tutwiler Baptist, Interstate Baptist, Glacier Valley Baptist in Juneau Alaska, Valley Park Baptist, and White Oak Baptist in Mississippi where she helped in the churches and taught countless Sunday School classes. Outside of the church, she also worked as a bookkeeper for Mr. Kelly in Cleveland, as the childcare director at Christ United Methodist Church, and finally helped veterans in Sunflower County obtain benefits.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tishie and Leland Clark, her husband, WD Kirk, and her son Douglas Kirk.

Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughters Rachel Anderson and Rebecka Hakel and their husbands Bill Anderson and Brian Hakel; four great grandchildren, Travis Anderson, Collin Anderson, Vera Hakel, and Vance Hakel; her brothers/sisters in-law Bobby Kirk, Andy Kirk, Sibyl Arant and their families; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Kirk; her niece Linda Cox; her brothers Robert Daughtry, Mike Clark and Steve Clark; and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Roundaway Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roundaway Baptist Church, 776 Steiner Rd, Doddsville, MS 38736.
