Edward "Danny" Chisolm, 68, of Indianola, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson.

Danny was born in Jackson on May 24, 1951. He was the son of James Edward Chisolm and Bertha Hallie Smith Chisolm. He moved to Moorhead in 1961. In February of 1971 he was drafted into the United States Army where he served for two years until returning home to work for AT&T in 1973. Danny was very active with CWA and served as local president for several years. In 2011 he retired from AT&T and enjoyed life with his grandkids and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn, of Indianola; one son, Daniel and his wife Melinda of Van Buren, Arkansas; two daughters, Stephanie McKay and her husband Mike of Indianola, April Massey and her husband Ike of Brandon; five brothers, David Chisolm and his wife Yvonne of Houston, Texas, Roger Chisolm and his wife Beth of Greenville, Ricky Chisolm and his wife Darlene of Jackson, Dennis Chisolm and his wife Carla of Lake City, Florida, Lenny Chisolm and his wife Pam of Magee; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Morgan, Madison, Lee, Lane, Ally, and Trotter.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery.
