Mary Frances Rodgers Anthony, 82, of Indianola, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Indywood Personal Care Home in Indianola. Frances was born in Moorhead, and was the daughter of Willie Preston and Lena Canoy Rodgers. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ira "Bud" Anthony; two brothers, Billy Rodgers and Orie Rodgers; and sister, Virginia Rodgers Pepper. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Roger Allen Anthony and wife Meta of Inverness, Paul Douglas Anthony of Indianola; daughter, Sandra Pepper Cassidy and husband Barry of Indianola; seven grandchildren, Allen Reed Anthony, Holly Anthony Farmer and husband Earl, John Paul Anthony, Brent Vickers, Carson Vickers, Jenna Schroeder, Jencie Anthony; and two great grandchildren, Walker Anthony and Weston Farmer.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the 3:00 pm funeral service at Eastwood Baptist Church, Indianola. Interment will follow in Indianola City Cemetery, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home of Indianola.

The family requests in lieu of flowers and food, memorials be made to Eastwood Baptist Church, PO Box 466, Indianola, MS 38751.
