Frankie Hill Sudduth, 86, of Indianola died Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland. She was born February 23, 1930 and was the daughter of Joel Harris Hill, Sr. and Aleane Olandis Mitchell Hill. Ms. Sudduth was a member of First United Methodist Church of Indianola and was a former member of the Missionary Society. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Sudduth; and her brother, Norris Hill. Ms. Sudduth is survived by stepson, Stanley Sudduth of Tennessee; step daughter, Barbara Jo Rogers and husband Tony of Tennessee; two brothers, Hiram Hill and wife Barbara of Indianola and Joel Hill and wife Linda of Greenville; sister in law, Bobbie Jean Hill of Indianola; step granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 9:30 am until the 10:00 am funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or Indianola Academy.
