Gary Dale Snyder, 60, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, in Sardis.

He was born January 9, 1958, in Isola to William Daniel and Flora Mae Donald Snyder. Gary served as a Tank Commander in the United States Army for 22 years until his retirement in 1996.  He was a member of Lighthouse Church of God in Grenada.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Danny; and four sisters, Virginia Ann, Nancy, Bernice, and Annice.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marilyn Ramsey Snyder of Grenada; daughter, Monica Snyder of Sardis; three sons, Gary Snyder, Jr. of Bath Spring, Tennessee, Robert Snyder of Grenada, and Anthony Snyder of Carrollton; five sisters, Billy Jean Nelson of Belzoni, Paulett Pickell of Belzoni, Brenda Kenee of West, Sheila Taylor of Grenada, and Frances Roland of Belzoni; one brother, Larry Snyder of Branson, Missouri; and 19 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Burton Funeral Home. Reverend Farrell Wilson will officiate.
