Curtis Glenn Ables, Sr., 54, of Indianola, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, with his loving family by his side.

Glenn was born August 30, 1968, in Isola, to Jerry Wayne Ables and Patricia Ann Ethridge Bruckner. He worked for Bruckner's Photography from the time he was 15 years old until his health began to fail last year. Glenn loved Nascar Racing. He enjoyed helping people, and volunteered his time coaching little league baseball. Glenn was very funny and easily made friends because of his wonderful personality. He loved photography and going to photo events at the schools and with sports teams. Most of all, Glenn loved his family. He was always excited when his kids and grandkids were around.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne Ables and his stepfather, Aubrey Bruckner.

He is survived by his wife, Jamela Ables of Indianola; four children, Savanna Beams (Matt) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Amber Henry of Corinth, Chloe Ables (Drake Lofton) of Shaw, and Curt Ables (Hattie Fletcher) of Indianola; mother, Patricia Ann Bruckner of Hernando; six siblings, Jarmon Ables (Tracey), Timmy Ables of Hernando, Craig Morgan (Jessica) of Hernando, Charles Ken Ables (Elizabeth) of Isola, Kathy Ables of Indianola, and Michael Bruckner (Brenda) of Merigold; and nine grandchildren, Evan, Briley, Summer, James, Bethany, Keaton, Sadie, Carson, and Brayden.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am, at Burton Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Roundaway Cemetery in Doddsville. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
