Glenn Bailey's Obituary
Glenn Irvan "G.I." Bailey, 65, of Indianola, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016, at South Sunflower County Hospital. Glenn was born in Grenada, and was the son of Lawrence Douglas and Barbara Jane Bailey.
Glenn was retired from Bell South after more than 30 years of service. For 12 years he served his country in the Mississippi Army National Guard. He was a member of the
NRA, and the Greenville Rifle & Pistol Club.
He was preceded in death by his father; wife, Susie; and great grandchild, Alexis Munns. Glenn leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Barbara Jane Price of Humble, TX; son, Jerry G. Jones and his wife Elsie of Rogers, AR; daughter, Kristina Croslin of Conway, AR; brother, Edwin Washington of Pearl, MS; sister, Sara Longley of Humble, TX; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will be at 12:00 pm, Friday, January 8, 2016, at Wilkerson Cemetery in Grange, AR. Burton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
