Grady Willcutt's Obituary
Grady Willcutt, 90, of Indianola and formerly of Sunflower, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at South Sunflower County Hospital.
He was born January 10, 1928, in Michie, Tennessee to Oliver and Ella Meeks Willcutt. Mr. Willcutt was a longtime farmer in Sunflower. He loved farming, animals and working in his yard. Mr. Willcutt adored his family and loved picking on his kids and grandkids. They will always remember him as a jokester.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Grady Willcutt, Jr. and Don Willcutt; daughter, Joanne Willcutt; four brothers; and two sisters.
Mr. Willcutt is survived by his wife of 68 years, Martha Dodson Willcutt of Indianola; two daughters, Gail Sneed of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Barbara Warden of Linden, Texas; one son, Eddie Willcutt of Belzoni; one sister, Dorothy Sheline of Gary, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 25, 2018 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in Indianola Memorial Gardens. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
