Hannah Knight Henderson, 82, of Indianola, passed away peacefully Friday, September 11, 2020, at her home.

Hannah was born April 27, 1938, in Skene, Mississippi, to Oscar and Myra Ferguson Knight. She married Hubert Henderson in 1953 and they moved to Indianola in 1961. Hannah worked for SuperValu in Indianola for 28 years prior to her retirement. She loved gardening and was famous for her tomatoes. Hannah was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Indianola.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Myra Knight; husband, Hubert Henderson; and three brothers, Preston Knight, Virgil Knight, and W.B. Knight.

Hannah is survived by her two sons, Clayton Henderson and Timmy Henderson both of Indianola, and one brother, James Knight of Greenville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 15, 2020, from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service at Eastwood Baptist Church in Indianola. Rev. Ron Burch will officiate. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, St. Jude, American Heart Association, Eastwood Baptist Church, or The Baptist Children's Village.
