Hazel Black Pierce, 88, of Indianola, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021, at Indianola Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Hazel was born June 22, 1932, in Kosciusko, to Jim Black and Velma Rodgers Black. She married Lloyd Pierce on August 5, 1950 and they made their home in Indianola. She was a Baptist by faith. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Pierce; daughter, Pam Swann; son, Donny Ray Pierce; and two brothers, Bobby Black and Billy Black. She is survived by daughter, Tiffany Weeks of Pearl; sister, Mary Sisk of Fort Smith, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, January 11, 2021 at Moorhead Cemetery in Moorhead. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
