Jack Stanley Hoke, age 69, passed away at his home in Belzoni, on January 15, 2024.

He was born in Moorhead, MS on November 04, 1954, to Warren Earl Hoke, Sr. and Mildred Luster Hoke. Jack, known to many as Red Man, grew up in the Gooden Lake Community of Belzoni and was a retired equipment operator.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Warren Earl Hoke, Jr., Jerry Wayne Hoke, and Mike Hoke.

He is survived by his best friend, Roxie Hoke; nieces, Lori Verhage (Craig), Robin Toler (Kent), and Mandy Champagne (Clinton); great niece, Anna Street Toler; great nephews, Warren Toler, Woods Toler, and Cash Champagne; sister-in-law, Diane McMinn; numerous aunts and cousins; and his chocolate lab, Pearl.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Malone officiating. A private burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Inverness. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
