Jackie Ledell Robison, 68, of Sunflower, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 9, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.

Jackie, affectionately known as Bud, was born December 14, 1951, in Sunflower County to Clinton and Jackie Hodges Robison. Bud worked for Modern Line Products in Indianola until its closure. He then went to work for Joe Ogelsby Fish Farms and worked there until his health failed. Bud was a very kindhearted man and would help anyone. He would give anything to anyone, whether he had it to give or not, and he never met a stranger. Bud loved his family especially his grandchildren.  He was a member of Linn Baptist Church.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Jackie Hodges Robison; and one son, William Ledell Robison.

He is survived by four daughters, Joyce Ann Young and her husband Neal, Lynn Alexander and her husband Robbie, Amanda Osburn and her husband Travis all of Conway, Arkansas, and Kimberly Michelle Robison of Sunflower; one son, Bubba Robison of Sunflower; two brothers, Gene Hodges and his wife Cathy of Walls, and George Robison of Schlatter; seven sisters, Linda Davenport of Boyle, Faye Hardy and her husband Sonny of Philadelphia, Ginnie Coker and her husband Donnie of Douglasville, Georgia, Nettie Lindsey and husband Michael of Coldwater, Elaine Langston of Southaven, Rachel Robison, and Kathy Ellzey and her husband Terrence all of Greenville, South Carolina; 14 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Graveside services will follow at Linn Baptist Church Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
