Jacqueline (Jackie) Story Westbrook, 66, of Indianola, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola.

Jackie was born October 7, 1952 in Ruleville, MS to the late Edward Story and Juanita Wilkins. She was an employee of the USDA Rural Development office in Indianola from 1976 until she retired in June of 2004. Jackie graduated from Indianola Academy in 1970 then attended Delta State University from 1970-1973. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Indianola where she also sang in the choir. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved to sing.

Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Edward E. Story and her granddaughter, Lora Ashleigh Westbrook.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Westbrook of Indianola and one son, Thomas Conn Westbrook of Clearwater, FL.; one granddaughter Chastity Nicole Allred, one great grandson Tom Baderman , her mother, Juanita Wilkins of Ruleville and step mother Jeneanne Story of Indianola, two brothers, Marvin Story (Julie) of Bay St. Louis, MS, Bob Story (Devin) of Tuscola, IL; 4 sisters, Janice Marquis of Drew, MS, Jean Wilkins of Ruleville, Mary Griffin (Allen) of Drew , Lois Williams (Marcus) of Walls, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 9, 2019 at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
