James Eddie "Bubba" Sharp, Jr., 57, of Madison, and formerly of Indianola, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Bubba was born July 8, 1961 in Indianola. He worked for many years as a carpenter. Bubba loved his nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He enjoyed watching movies and television. Bubba was preceded in death by his father, James Eddie Sharp, Sr.; his biological mother, Shirley Marquis Buxton; and one sister, Toni Smith. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Sharp of Sunflower; two brothers, Jeff Sharp of Indianola, and Jerry Madden of Oxford; two sisters, Gail Sharp of Madison, and Joan Sharp of Greenville. The family will receive friends Friday, May 10, 2019, from 2:00 pm until the 3:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm.
