James Danny "Jive Jimmy" Snyder, Jr., 46, of Grenada died Thursday, March 17, 2016 at his home. James was born December 24, 1969 in Isola and was the son of James Danny Snyder, Sr. and Tara Smith Snyder. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Belzoni and was a loving husband and father. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Tara Smith Snyder of Gulfport; wife, Ellen Summerford Snyder of Grenada; two sons, Remington (Crystal Hendricks) Summerford and Rivers Snyder both of Grenada; step-daughter, Brooklyn Carter of Crossett, AR; brother, Franky (Felicia) Snyder of Belzoni; sister, Darlene Snyder of Belzoni; and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, March 21, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at First Presbyterian Church in Belzoni. Burial will follow in Belzoni City Cemetery.
