Jane Hilton Baker, 86, of Indianola passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at South Sunflower County Hospital. Ms. Baker was born April 19, 1929 in Sunflower, Mississippi to Carley Bradley and Ethel Gardner Hilton. She worked as a seamstress at Steed's Cleaners in Indianola for 36 years until her retirement. Ms. Baker was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Indianola. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John William Baker; and two brothers, Roger Earl Hilton and C.B. Hilton. Ms. Baker is survived by three daughters, Belinda Baker (Mark) Ashley of Pensacola, Florida, Sandy Baker Sanders of Indianola, and Janice Baker (Greg) Robertson of Inverness; 4 grandchildren, Doty Mallette (Jason) Roye of Pensacola, Florida, John Bradley (Taffy) Mitchell of Miami, Florida, Alanna Michelle Robertson of Inverness, and John Gregory (Allison) Robertson of West Palm Beach, Florida and one great granddaughter, Alyssa Layne Roye of Pensacola, Florida. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am , Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Christ United Methodist Church in Indianola. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
