Jeffrey Lyle Johnson, 62, of Indianola, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021.

Jeff was born March 14, 1959, in Leachville, Arkanasas, to Eugene and Carol Kelley Johnson. He was raised in Indianola where he attended school. After high school and cosmetology school, he opened and operated J Lyles Studio for more than 30 years. Jeff was an incredibly talented hairdresser. He was a kind soul that would do anything for anyone. Jeff was a dedicated caretaker for his beloved baby sister, LaJuan, until her death.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, LaJuan Johnson.

Jeff is survived by his brother, John Johnson (Amie) of Greenville; two nephews, Jonathan Johnson (Meaghan) of Madison and Justin Johnson (Jenny) of Atlanta, Georgia; great niece, Ella Johnson of Madison; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola.
