Jerome L. "Jerry" Visconti, 73, of Indianola died Saturday, October 17, 2015 at South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola. He was born June 9, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, and was the son of Leonard Carl and Sophie Oshotsky Visconti.

Jerry was retired from Modern Tool and Die in Indianola after more than 40 years of service.  He was a communicate of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Greenville.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.  He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Pat Visconti of Indianola; daughter, Kim Maxey and her husband Bobby of Indianola; sisters, Joanne Visconti of Del Ray, Florida, Gloria Allin and her husband Richard of Ravenna, Ohio, Delores Pikula and her husband John of Reading, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Lindsay Massey, Cody Maxey and his wife Taylor, Katherine "K.C." Maxey; and great grandchildren, Anna Sterling Massey and Cam Massey.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Indianola.  Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home of Indianola.
