Jerry Dale Hendricks, Jr., better known as JJ, 20, of Indianola, passed away on July 3, 2024, in Indianola. JJ was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Indianola. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. JJ is survived by his father, Jerry Dale Hendricks, Sr. and stepmother, Wendy Bufkin Hendricks of Forrest; mother, Cassie Covington Davis and stepfather, Robert Davis of Winona; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and RuthAnn Hendrick of Clarksdale; maternal grandparents Frank and Janet Covington of Wilmington, North Carolina and formerly of Indianola; brother, Robert Davis of Greenwood; sisters, Madison Layne Hendricks of Greenville, Mollie Renae Hendricks of Indianola, Bethany Thibeault and Courtney Thibeault Brown both of Forrest, and Jasmine Davis of Oxford. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm with Rev. Duncan Hoopes officiating. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
