Jerry Richard Little, 65, of Indianola, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at his home.

Rick was born August 28, 1956, in Prentiss, Mississippi to Samuel Jerry Little and Alice Faye Hudson Little. He was a United States Army Veteran. While in the service, Rick served as an Airborne Ranger. He was the owner of Rick's Tree Climbing Service. Rick married Ruth Anne Farish on December 11, 1992, and together they made their home in Indianola. He was a member of Itta Bena Church of God.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Ruth Ann Little of Indianola; daughter, Susan Powers; three brothers, Gerald Wayne Little, James Lee Little, and William Joseph (Nicole) Little all of Vicksburg; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Monday, February 28, 2022, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The celebration of life service will begin at 2:00 pm. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
