Jerry Roland, 75, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, at his home. He was born July 23, 1946, in Tennessee, to Manuel and Ethel Lindsey Roland. Jerry was a heavy equipment operator and welder prior to his retirement. He was a hard worker and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jerry loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Manuel Roland; and two brothers, Roscoe Roland and Dennis Roland. Jerry is survived by two children, Jerry Wayne Roland of Belzoni and Stephanie (JoJo) Dinning of Coldwater; four sisters, Gladys Lindsey of Indianola, Shirley Forbes of Isola, Barbara (George) Roberson of Indianola, and Cindy Hudson of Tennessee; one brother, Mickey Roland of Myrtle; the mother of his children, Patsy Roland; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at Indianola Memorial Gardens. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
