Jessie Ann Miller Hawkins, 77, of Inverness, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg.

Ann was born May 21, 1947, in Indianola, to Jessie and Mildred Jenkins Miller. She worked for many years as a deli manager. Ann enjoyed painting, the outdoors, and spending time on her deck. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all her pets. Ann never met a stranger and was loved by everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Miller; and granddaughter, Callie Pate.

Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Glen "Bubba" Hawkins, Jr. of Inverness; son, William Lloyd "Bill" Fikes, Jr. (Stacy) of Purvis; three daughters, Wanda Fulton (Ken) of Rolling Fork, Donna Johnson (Nathan) of Inverness, Shannon Weeks (Billy) of Indianola; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 at the funeral Home. Burial will follow in Methene Cemetery in Belzoni. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
